How to Ctrl-C Ctrl-V with Docs in iPad 3?

Seems like I took the path of least resistance and bought (for $10 each) Pages, Numbers, and Keynote. So here is an interesting question before I even think I'll have to spend much time figuring it out...

I'm emailing a docx file that contains names and email addresses. Once traveling and using the iPad 3 only I will open this docx using Pages. How do I simulate Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V this Pages document to transfer an email address in it to a Mail email I'm composing to send? I just want to know if there is some clever way to do this 'brute force' directly. This need will be so infrequent that writing or remembering the email address I need will work too. I just want to know here if it is possible?

[Ultimately--surely--I will learn how to import and/or sync Contacts from Windows Live Mail to Mail on the iPad or to the iPad's Contacts folder (?) one day but I would like to get sidetracked gaming again before learning to do this--I don't want the iPad to be a forced march for me and synching various things hardly seems worth it even though it is proper. Also, I know I can convert these docx files to txt but I don't want to.🙂]

Thank you.
