Where do scripts go?

What folder do the scripts go in, please? Can't find it anywhere. Wanting to use Bookends. Their instructions say there is a scripts menu on the right of the menu bar but I can't see it.

You enable the AppleScript menu from within AppleScript Editor.app located in Applications > Utilities. Check the box next to Show Script menu in menu bar.

The folders to place the scripts in are in the main HD > Library & each user's Library. Once you've enabled the AppleScript menu it is easy to access these folders from the menu bar. I prefer to use the Computer Scripts folder so that any script is available to all users. I have also created a separte Application Scripts folder where I put the scripts I use frequently for the iWork apps & iTunes.

Don't be so hard on fruhulda, she is very helpful here. We all will read things a little differently & see different aspects of the question as key. I probably use scripts from within Pages more than she does & I've written a few very simple ones so I saw that part of your question.

I've been expecting the next version of the iWork apps "any day now" for almost three years.
