Not unless you can tell us why it's crashing.
Post the first 50 lines only of the crash report
Regards
TD
How do I get it ?
It seems that i don't have any crash report, so how can i solve my problem ???
I have a new camera and i'm really sad that i can not upload my pix on my macbook... 😟
Please !!! HELP !!!!
Try importing some photos again and when the crash waring comes up and asks you if you want to send it to Apple click OK. In the next window copy the first 50 lines of the crash report and post back here.
Unfortunately,
there is no warning.
While importing, Iphoto just close without warning, without any information window.
Its window closes and that's it..
Try this: launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and try to create a new, test library. If you can import some photos and open and close it to see if the same problem persists. If you can create a new library and run it without crashing then your current library is damaged.
If that is the case make a temporary, backup copy (select the library and type Command+D) and apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Select the options identified in the screenshot.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.
Unfortunately
it is not working...
When i created the new library Iphoto kept crashing.
It sounds as if iPhoto needs to be reinstalled.
To do so you'll have to delete the current application and all files with "iPhoto" in the file name with either a .PKG or .BOM extension that reside in the HD/Library/Receipts folder and from the /var/db/receipts/ folder,
Then install iPhoto from the disk it came on originally and apply all applicable updaters.
I reinstalled my OSX, Iphoto, downloaded all updates...
It worked... 2 times...
After 2 uploads, the same problem occured. No crash report, just Iphoto stopping without notice.
I'm seriously getting upset, bought a new camera some days after the first problem, and i can not process my pictures as my Iphoto is not operatonal...
I REALLY NEED HELP !!!
Where is the famous Mac system that was not crashing ??? I feel like i'm using a microsoft system !!!
PLEASE !!
I'm wondering is the fast that my pictures are of very large sizes could be the source of the issue.
(I'm using a 36M cam "Nikon D800")
????
See if this workaround will work until a solution is found: upload your photos to a folder on your Desktop with Image Capture or a card reader and import the folder of photos into iPhoto.
Also when the upload is complete reformat the card in the camera rather than with your Mac or iPhoto.
Thanks Old Toad for your advise...
Unfortunately, even this is not working !
Anyone else with an idea ????
Ok, i finally found by my self where was the crash report ...
Here it is !!!

Anyone with new informations ??
My Iphoto is still crashing...
Why can't we solve this ? Why can't i get help ?
Create a new account (systempreferences -> accounts or Users & Groups on 10.7 and 10.8), make a new Library in that account, import some shots and see if the problem is repeated there.
Iphoto 9.2.3 crashes on importation with 10.6.8
