Profile Manager / Ruby pegging CPU at 100%

Running 10.7.4 server on a late X-Serve.

Server is hosting OD, iCal, AB, AFP, Mail and Profile Manager.

The profile manager service appears to be working correctly, and interacting ok with our IOS devices but it's ruby process is constantly at 100% load (ie using a whole core) even when there is no client activity, thus far we have only set up a handful of devices anyway.

Logs are clean and show no errors.

Has anyone else seen this behaviour or have any suggestions on the cause?

Nevermind, I figured it out.

Looks like PM runs a ruby process for a bunch of open ports to handle communications with devices on ports 3320 to 3229.

The daemon was trying to launch a process on port 3320 over and over eventhough there was a much older process already running on the port (presumably orphaned somehow). Killing that process allowed it to start a new one successfully and get out of the loop.
