Q: Documents on iCloud

I use Microsoft Office for Mac and can't upload documents to iCloud. Must I now change to iWork?

MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.4.6)

What exactly are you trying to upload them for. I can upload certain office documents but not others, which type are you trying to upload.
