Lights
The keyboard backlight appears to behave incorrectly (on Mac computers that have this feature).
The Status Indicator Light (SIL) appears to behave incorrectly (on Mac computers that have an SIL).
Battery indicator lights, if present, appear to behave incorrectly (on portables that use non-removable batteries).
The display backlight doesn't respond correctly to ambient light changes on Mac computers that have this feature.
If you have had you RAM upgraded or someone took the bottom cover off , could have disconnected a tiny 1/8" ribbon connection that powers the light. It is right next to the RAM slots on MacBook Pro

Oct 19, 2012 4:01 PM in response to Windows userby tarotmusic,Nop!...tryed it all and it still doesnt work...had to install an app called "Lab Tick",it's still just a compromise, you have to manualy ajust it.I'm shure its a bug thogh,at one time I installed an ssd drive and everything was back to normal, then I had to switch back to the original drive because of other isues. As soon as I put the original drive back in,the problem started again...
I've also been to the keyboard preference menu and the options "automaticaly illuminate keyboard in low light" and "Turn off when computer is not used for: 5sec,10sec,30sec.etc..." simply don't exist!
I have Mountain Lion installed.
I need a Dr House of Mac's!!!!...can someone please help me!
