MacBook Pro won't recognize my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1

I have a MacBook Pro running 10.7.4 and it refuses to recognize my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 when I connect through a USB. The Galaxy Tab recognizes that it is connected, but the MacBook Pro won't. I am trying to sync the two so that I can put my iTunes music on the tab.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.4)
