Can I transfer my emails from Outlook 2010 onto my Ipad 2?

All my emails come into my Outlook on my PC and I want to know if I can transfer/sync them to an Ipad2 so I can look at them and refer to them from my Ipad?

It depends on your email service. If you have IMAP email, where the mails are held on the server and the clients sync with it, then it's very easy. If you are using POP email, then it's much harder.

You need to check your email settings to see which protocol you are using. If you are using IMAP, then just copy the settings from Outlook into Settings >> Mail and it should all just link up.

Conect to iTunes by cable on your PC. Click on your pad icon.Open the Info tab. Put a tick in Sync Mail, select outlook, and in option at the bottom put a tick in Mail there too. Hit apply and sync. This will transfer your setings for you.

Open Mail, Contacts, Calendars in Settings on your pad. Tap on your account which will now be visible, fill in the fields required, incoming password and smtp etc. Indicate authorisation and whether to use SSL. etc.

You can get the correct info from your Outlook on your PC - Tools\Account - select your email and hit modify - this will allow you to check the various pages and settings. Dont change anything and just quit out when you havethe info to check.

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook-help/CL010254592.aspx will help with any queries or sync issues.
