Calendar invites: organizer listed as (null) (null)

Hello all,

I'm having a bit of an issue when sending invites from iCal or Calendar in iOS. As the image below indicates all invites sent by me are arriving at their destination with the name of the organizer listed as (null) (null). I've searched around to see if anyone else has had this problem with no luck. Searching for the term null, needless to say, returns far too many results to find the answer I am searching for. If anyone has an ideas of how this issue can be resolved I would love to hear from you. If you require any additional info please let me know.

Thanks.

mofli,

That answers my question. In that case, go to iCloud.com, log into your account, and open contacts. Your name should have this symbol next to it:

If that symbol is not next to your name, select the Preferences icon on the bottom left hand corner of the screen and make sure to designate the card as your card.

You may also want to try resetting your iPhone: "To reset iPhone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears."

Thanks,

My adress card is inded selected as such and my name does have that symbol beside it. When I send an invite the email that people receive does properly display my name. However, once the person selects Accept, Decline or Maybe and is taken to the webview I embedded in the original post ny name does not show up. I am having a hard time understanding why it happns only when the invite is created on the iPhone and not also in iCal.
