Cannot get clients to connect to Software Update server

I can't get clients to connect to software update on our lion server. I have the path setup as http://adhmacsvr.gstboces.org:8088/index.sucatalog

I pushed the settings out via MCX and on the client side when I go to Software Update I get the following error:

"The Software Update Server (adhmacsvr.gstboces.org) is not responding."

I can either click Quit or Network Diagnostics.

Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Mac mini, Mac OS X (10.7.4), Lion Server
