Can you post a screenshot of the contents of the key you've been editing, please? Include all of the regedit screen, including the left-hand column. Save the screenshot to an image file, and insert the image file in a reply by clicking the wee camera icon at the top of the reply window.

For example, this is what I'm seeing when I look at my key:

I think it would be better if you generated the screenshot by holding down the Alt key and pressing your PrtScrn key. (That generates a screenshot of the active window, which should be the regedit screen showing the key.) Paste that into an image file.

(Can't really see the things I need to see in what you've currently supplied.)

According to that, you don't seem to have added in an UpperFilters entry for GEARAspiWDM.

Did you not do that (as per the instructions in the document on what to do if the UpperFilters entry is missing)?

Or did you revert the key after attempting a filter edit and still getting the error message?

i did revert it back. i tried registry cleaner, restore, uninstalling and reinstalling and i am where i started. i can do all i want with other programs or maybe i will try to pay someone to fix it. this is almost too complicated for me.

if you get any resolutions i'm sure a lot of us regular folks will be happy. i see i'm not the only one with this issue.

hello again itunes comes up fine. when i try to access the store it just has the message accessing itunes store and does not. i ran the diagnostics and i am connected to internet yet the last one fails which is the connection to itunes store. then i try the radio and nothing happens. i have norton 360 and itunes is checked in windows firewall i dumped that file from command prompt so?

🙂 That's perfect, thanks.

With those symptoms, I'd try the following document:

Apple software on Windows: May see performance issues and blank iTunes Store

(If there's a SpeedBit LSP showing up in Autoruns, it's usually best to just uninstall your SpeedBit Video Accelerator.)
