Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I am trying to use the Share / Export Image Sequence in order to capture and export still images to put on my website, and keep getting an error: "Final Cut Pro generated an error or unexectedly quit". Very frustruating. Maybe a bug in the system?
Final Cut Pro X, Mac OS X (10.7.3)
Not really an answer to your problem, but for the purpose you mention it looks like exporting an image sequence is overkill: this will export one image file for every frame of your video.
If you want a dozen images to illustrate specific parts of your video I figure it will be much more effective to place the playhead in the actual frames you want and do Share->Save Current Frame...
