Although my iPad 1 has a SIM card installed it cannot find it. It worked for 18 months but now it says "No SIM card". Could it be humidity or anything else? Does anybody have the same problem and what helps?

Hi there,
Try contacting your carrier, who may be able to replace your sim, to see if that is the issue.
If it still doesn't work with a new sim, let me know, and I'll give you tips on troubleshooting your hardware.
