Q: lyrics don't transfer to ipod touch

My ipod touch used to show lyrics transferred from itunes fine, but I recently found that the lyrics don't transfer now.  The ipod still shows the lyrics for songs transferred before, it just won't transfer newly loaded songs. 

 

I've searched the boards, online, and apple support (what a joke).  Does anyone know how to solve?  It's a 4th generation.  Thanks.

    Hi.

    It happened to me too.

    I guess you did solve the problem.

    Would appreciate if you told me how, so it will save me from "inventing the wheel".

    Also an iPod touch 4th gen and also researched the net without too much help.

    BTW, in my case all lyrics, from all songs disappeared, in iTunes they show.
