still have no plugins, for I went to Soldoers Angels Site that is where I get my names and addresses from and to the right side t=it say no plugins that is usually where there are pictures . Could you kindly explain to me what is going on for this site is part of my daily life
I'm sorry, but I have no idea. Maybe you need to specify what plug-in to which you are referring. If this plug-in uses Java, you may need to re-enable Java in your browser's preferences.
Try reinstalling the plug-in from this site you use.
I enabled the java butt still get the messsage no pluins could it be that I need flash point. or how would I know what plgin the site is asking for
I have to go for it time for me to get off the computer I am not allowed on here long do to having heart surgery 6 weeks ago, but if you could E Mail me an answer to try and fix my problem I would most certainly appreciate it very much.
If you could tell me exactly what this plug-in is that you need it would be helpful. Otherwise I'm just fumbling around blind and in the dark.
Kappy,
There have been reports from some Leopard users that after they ran either the Flashback Remover or the Security update (I don't recall which) that all their plug-ins had been disabled instead of just Java or an old FlashPlayer, but I have not been able to verify that.
I am absolutely clueless with what pluging it would be, I know nothing about plugins accept that when I go to the Soldiers Angels site it has message no plugin I clicked on it and it said to download flashpoint 10, NO I did not do that , then this morning I went to my online banking it too wanted flashpoint. Apparently there is a flashpoint missing that is needed since doing the leopard update and the worm update
how would I find out which plgin it would be perhaps if you could help me as to try to figure out how to find the plugin that would be helpful

Not flashpoint 10 it's FlashPlayer 10. As explained here http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1533 you had an old, dangerous FlashPlayer installed and it was disabled.
Go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ and download the 10.3 update.
I went there it asked for version of my imac it is a 10.58 that is not listed there so I do ot know what to do now can I please have your help again

Actually, it does. It says Mac OS X 10.4 - 10.5 which includes 10.5.8.
my mac is [] an intel duo core processor does that matter
The Intel part matters because you would not be in this situation if it was an older PPC Mac, but after that it doesn't matter. But you wouldn't be posting in the iMac (Intel) forum if it wasn't, right ;-)
yes the computer is an intel duo core processor, is thee a forum for the imacintel, should I go ahead and download it or just forget it
my computer is about 4 years old
