how do I find a list of internet plugings on my imac
They will be found in /Library/Internet Plug-ins/ folder.
Kappy I found them as a folder but they are disabled how would I fix that
Disabled how, exactly? They can only be disabled if moved to a differently named folder.
Problem not solved I found the folder but they are maked as disabled I do not understand what is going on for it all happened after the other night when I downloaded the updates from APPLE
How exactly are they marked as disabled? What update did you download and install?
the folder reads internest plugins disabled I did not move anything I never new anything about this this all happened after I did an updote from Apple the other night
something about an morale worm thing I spelled that wrong but it was a worm
Look in the other folder titled Internet Plug-ins. You're looking in the wrong folder.
that is the folder I am looking in it also has internet plugins disabled that is what is on the folder
That doesn't sound like an Apple update. Are you sure you aren't referring to Leopard Security Update 2012-003 or Flashback Removal Security Update?
So you are saying there is only one /Library/Internet Plug-ins (Disabled)/ folder and no separate Internet Plug-ins folder? I that's the case then just rename the folder to Internet Plug-Ins.
it was the leopard update but there was also one for a worm any way the internet plugins are dis abled how would I enable them
do you know what happened here
how would I go about renaming the folder, have to say I am not a computer wiz, I use this for work and supporting our troops and writing leters to the families of our Fallen Heroes
