My iMacs Internet is running really slow. Wondering if anyone could help. It is half a year old and running 10.7.4

Are there any other devices on the same network that you can compare it with?
Yes I have and it is slower than my pc, and iPad, even my iPhone.
Is the connection wired or wireless? If wireless, please connect to your router with an Ethernet cable and turn off Wi-Fi. Any difference?
I connected to the Internet via wifi and now that I have connected the computer to the router it is faster.
