I want to use my recovery email as my apple id but I don't know how to change my recovery id. I can only change my alternate id. Help please
Okay I have a similar problem. I don't remember my security questions and I can't recover them because my recovery email says it ends in @gmail.con not .com so I can never possibly recover them because said .con email DOES NOT EXIST!!! How can I change my recovery email because I'm out of options.
thanks, that worked except it forces you to change everything - password, security questions... even if all you want is to change the recovery email. And I had to login about 6 times through this process - dumbest site I've ever used!
Well you've just disconnected your apps, songs or ibooks. This is because all purchases are forever tied to the AppleID that was used. You can't transfer your purchases. If you didn't bought anything then you'll be alright.
Go to appleid.apple.com. Log in with your current Apple ID, tap Password and Security, answer the security questions, and you will be taken to a new page where you can update your Recovery/Rescue email address.
