Numbers will open the file but not execute the macros.

as roger noted, macros will not execute in numbers. you can open and edit the workbook on your iOS device.

If they are required, you will need to obtain a copy of excel on desktop to run them. (Maybe openoffice, but i have not tested it myself). Even then a macro written on a windows machine and using DLL VBA references will not run or even compile properly on a mac as far as i know.

If you want to reproduce the functionality on desktop numbers (not iOS), If you can get your hands on the code, and can understand it, you might be able to reproduce the macro code on a desktop mac using applescript. no guarantees though. They are not directly or easily translated.
