Jun 1, 2012 7:39 AM in response to jsoardby deggie,The iPhone 4 CANNOT access the HSPA+ service of AT&T, which they label as 4G service (so does T-Mobile). It also CANNOT access AT&Ts 4G LTE service.
The iPhone 4s CAN access the AT&T HSPA+ service and the indicator on the phone will change to 4G if you are in an area with coverage. It CANNOT access the AT&T 4G LTE service.

Jun 1, 2012 9:10 AM in response to deggieby jsoard,We are half way there. Thanks.
When Apple created case number 317112774, the agent identified the G4 iphone as 4G friendly HSPA+ only. I believe that would be in the case notes. Please don't get me wrong.... they were very professional and repeting the information as best they could access it. — JS
