Mass delete to email inbox!!! Help

And I did it, it works! You have to do exactly as described.

Go into the inbox of your account

Select Edit (above right)

Select/check the top message

Hold the move button (until the right screen turns gray)

Release on deselect the same message you previously selected

The windows move back so that you can select where you want to move the msg too (but wait until you see a little pile of messages on the right)

Then select the trash and voilà all messages that where visible on the earlier inbox page and in the trash (and of course from there you ccan simply delete all)!

Thank God for the person who figured this out, and why oh why can't Apple put this somewhere easy to find? :)

Oops, correction to my list:

where I said "Release on deselect..."

Replace "While still holding the Move button, deselect the message previously selected msg (note it doesn't matter if it you previously selected the first msg or any msg in the inbox, make sure to deselect the same msg your previsouly selected)"

add next "Release the Move button"

then first with the rest of the list.

Actually if you follow the instructions in the link it works, but I added this to help clarify in case someone didn't get it at first.
