Q: How do I get my music back?

For the first time I synced my iPod touch to the computer with a USB. All my music was downloaded onto the

iTunes on my computer successfully. However, when I went back to look at my music on the iPod it wasn't there.

I can't seem to find anyway to get the music back onto my iPod, and the closest Apple store is over 100 miles away.

I downloaded the iTunes version 5.5, I dunno if that has anything to do with it.

Anyway I would be really happy if someone could help. But please no jargon, it just confuses me.
