I would like help to convert my old IMAC computer with system OS 9 from being "dial up" into being high speed to connect to the internet. Can you smart people advise me on how to accomplish this?

Connect it to the cable modem or router with an Ethernet cable, open the TCP/IP control panel, and set it to connect via Ethernet using the DHCP protocol unless otherwise noted.
