Tried the fix offered here, but podcasts still missing

I have done this, but only 2 of my podcasts are showing in this folder. I had at least 30 (with a minimum of 10 episodes each) a few days ago. Since the latest itunes update, all but 2 have vanished and the fix offered here doesn't work. What can I do?
