Help! The money I redeemed from itune

On 6/1/12 I redeemed my itunes card which had 25$ on it. I then purchased an album that costed 9.99$ and as I purchased it, it said I had 12 and some cent money. I know my account was not hacked, I had just updated my password. Anyways, it now says i have 2.44$ in my account. I need help soon, I am going to be boarding a flight and will not be bringing any electronic device besides a phone and my ipod.

By the way, I have relogged out my account and restarted my laptop.

Look at your purchase history and see what the charges were for.

There was only one purchase, and that was the 9.99$ purchase.

Have the same issue. Today I found out that 50 doll are gone from my account. I have redeemed 50 doll month ago. Given the fact that itunes gift card code never expires I think it's related to some unknown issues with App store itself. Anyways. I have reported this issue to Apple and they will contact me within 24 hours.

Well tell me when you have come about with a resolution. I have emailed them on the situation, they will get back to me in 24 hours also.

I just was emailed back, it says that I had made a previous purchase before redeeming the card and that the itunes card had paid what i didn't pay on that previous purchase.
