Mac Mini 2011 Fan Noise

I have a Mac Mini 2.5GHZ Radeon Mid2011 inside my room. Today is a cold day (8 Celsius) and you may imagine a summer hot day near to 40 Celsius in my country. During hard job as converting videos (nocturnal job) or games and near to 5000/6000rpm the fan noise is very, very loud and very, very disturbing. My friend has an iMac and there is not noise I`ve observed as my Mini. I had a Macbook Pro 13inches and so on. Is it normal? I`m starting to regret having bought something so loud where nobody can sleep...

Mac mini, Mac OS X (10.7.4)

Doesn't sound normal, but what temps are the components running?

Get Temperature Monitor to see if it's heat related...

If you have any temps in the 70°C/160°F range, that's likely it.

Thanks for your reply. The whole issues revolves around The overhead And the noise of the fan when it is With a task harder under higher temperatures and above 5000rpm. I see The table shown that temperature is normal here. Perhaps because this computer is very compact, perhaps because this machine is More fragile the conversion of a video during 40/160 minutes eventually become trully disturbing inside an ambient. I phoned to Apple Advisers and the adviser said it was a normal noise for the type Of machine That would be Mini or lead it to technical assistance for any type of repair. Of course I'm not satisfied because I have a Mini that I will not use for any video conversion or harder work Or bought a machine totally unsuitable For any/my harder use. I really don't know what to do.
