Importing video from iPad to iMac

I shot a couple videos on my iPad, and I want to edit those videos on my iMac. How do I do that?

Thanks!

Attach your iPad to the Mac via the USB cable.

Open iMovie. Click FILE/IMPORT FROM CAMERA.

Here is a movie that shows this. The movie is an iPhone, but it should work the same.

If you have a Mac, you can import videos from your iOS device using iTunes.

1. Connect the device to your computer. iTunes should automatically open its import window and show your device's images and videos.

If iTunes doesn't open, you might need to turn the option on.

2. Click Import All. Or if you want to import specific items, select those images and videos, then click Import Selected. After your iTunes import, a dialog will ask you if you want to delete the original videos files.

3. Choose Delete or Keep ones.

If you delete videos after you import them, you can reduce the size of your videos and improve backup and restore times.

If you want to import the videos to additional computers, keep your in your phone.
