Is there an easy way to rotate photos on safari? i get photos emailed to me all the time, but whenever i click to "view", they always open in a new tab sideways or upside down.
all i'd like to do is get a better look at them quickly, instead of the small thumbnail attached to the email. these are not photos that i plan to save or edit or photoshop.

yes, i can downloaded the photo(s) and use preview or iphoto ot some other program to rotate each one, but it seems so awkward, inelegant and SLOW, just to take a quick peek at the five separate photos that someone sends.
is there really not an app or some similar thing to help? i recall downloaded an app for explorer on windows, to take care of the same problem...
no options from drop down menu or right/control-clicking the photo.
isn't most all normal email web-based? i can't believe that no one else ever receives photo attachments that they would like to "view" more closely, without going through the bother of downloading and using some photo program? can i really be the only one?

When I say web based, I'm referring to accessing your email from a browser instead of using the Mac Mail app.
You can drag a photo from your email window to your Desktop. Then launch Preview, then from the Preview menu bar click Tools > Roate Left or Right.

For webased email? I doubt if Safari supports rotating images.
Try right or control clicking a photo. There might be an option to rotate from the drop down menu.
