OMG. Every word I type in Mail gets autosaved! I have dozens of drafts of the same message saved, one word at a time (or so it feels like).
How do I stop this craziness!?!? Cannot find the dropdown or setting anywhere.

Hello, see if this helps...
Turn off the "Store draft messages on the server".
Mail>Preferences>Accounts, select your account, then select the "Mailbox Behaviors" tab, there's an option to disable saving drafts on the server.

If I disable saving drafts will it delete drafts that are currently on the server? There are some I'd like to keep. Thanks!
I just tried it & they disappeared instantly, rechecked it quickly & they appeared again.
I'd create a new Mail Folder "On My Mac" & move the ones you want to save to that.
I have this same problem and I don't see the option in Mailbox behaviors that everyone is talking about. Is there a new fix for this autosave issue?
