Q: I purchased this software and downloaded it but now I still can't put apps onto my iPod

I'm not sure what to do. I purchased this and I downloaded it but I am still unable to put apps onto my iPod and it seems like my iPod isnt even working because all it shows is a dark screen with the white apple logo and the loading bar but it doesnt do anything else and this has been occurring for the past two days.

Try here:
iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
If you can' turn the iPod off, then let the battery fully drain. After charging for at least an hour try again.
If not successful then time for an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

I tried shutting it off again...twice since I posted this and there isn't an Apple store near me...it's about 4 hours away.
