video summary

I need to summarize videos. In formeer times, I used a software called VideoSummary by Tatsuo Unemi. Unfortunately, I cannot find it any more. Is there any similar software?

In earlier years, there has been a plethora of frame grabbing software. It has disappeared since MAC OS offered the function, too. Is there a function to summarize videos in Lion or in Photoshop? Or in fcp or imovie?
