How to rename device (iPod classic)

I just received my sister's iPod classic as a hand-me-down. How do i rename this device with my info? PLEASE HELP!

iPod classic, iOS 5.1.1

When you connect the iPod to iTunes, you click the iPod name in the device column and rename it
