Song in iTunes playlist wont sync to iPod Touch (4g)

I put a song in the playlist in a specific spot in iTunes, and when I sync to my Touch it wont appear the playlist, but every other song will. 89 songs in iTunes playlist, 88 in the iPod playlist. I add the song to playlist from my iPod (edit, +, song), and it appears at the bottom. However, when I try to touch and drag (on my ipod) the song to a new place, it reverts to the bottom again.

iPod touch, iOS 5.1.1

I have this same exact problem and I allow itunes to sync automatically so nothing it missed in the sync. I also found that even after adding the song to the playlist on the ipod manually it will disapear. It started with just one song and now it's several.

I have the same kind of trouble - can't move songs from iTunes library to my iPhone.

This problem still remains unanswered. It can't be rocket science. Won't and expert give us the simple answer?
