Hi,

I created a RAM disk in my OS 9, and now I cannot undo it.

It says that it cannot be changed while mounted, but if I get it to the trash, it remount automatically, so what???

Thanks

Hi, Steve -

The Ram Disk must be empty of all items before it can be turned off in the Memory control panel. Drag anything on it to the Trash, and empty the Trash. If you want to save anything on it, drag such items to a folder on your hard drive so that Finder copies them there, then trash the originals and empty the Trash.

Be sure there is nothing on the desktop that belongs to the Ram Disk.

Once the Ram Disk is completely empty it should be removable in Memory control panel.
