You can contact the Account Security team by following these steps:

Please navigate to:

https://expresslane.apple.com/

Choose:

iTunes > iTunes Store

Then for Topic choose

Account Management > Lost or Forgotten Apple ID password (any concerns regarding security questions also fall under this category)

Choose Continue

You will be given the options to Talk to Apple Support Now or Call Apple Support Later, please choose the option that works best for you. If the hold time is long, you might only have the option to talk with them later.

If outside the US or Canada, and your country has Apple Phone Support, you must call and ask for The Account Security Team. They will then ask some security questions. If resetting your Security Questions, you must have a Credit Card on file so they can reset your Password First, then they can help reset your security questions. You should be able to add a credit card via iTunes or appleid.apple.com> Billing. <-- Very important, or they can nto assist you!!!

This is really getting out of control.

Just called Apple to reset the questions, because I forgot the answers.

And guess what - they told me that I cannot reset the questions if I don't provide them the answer on the phone because they cannot verify my identity. Now how that's stupid: I have my AppleId password, access to the email used to register with Apple, the history of all purchased apps, serial numbers of my devices and they aren't able to verify my identity!?

And after all, the only thing their security system does well is stopping me from buying new software on new devices.

This is really stupid.

Yes, been having this problem over a month now. Just got off phone with Account Security Team, they tell me they can't change my questions unless I give them the answers to my old questions? Duh! If I knew the answers then I wouldn't need to reset them. I gave them pretty much every bit of info I had, but without answering the security questions they can't verify my identity.

This is nuts

You cannot. I have been working on this for a few weeks and there is no solution just yet. I buy music movies and the like but I forget two questions about my 4th grade teacher and where were you on Jan. 1, 2001? I cannot even remember what I atte for breakfast. This is so frustrating. It is the details that apple is known for and it seems to be this detail that they are missing. There is no solution or reset so what is next. Years of musioc and I have to switch IDs.....nice

This is the same problem I had. My son, not realizing the importance of the security questions, entered random characters for the answers. Of course the answers aren't even a word nor can we replicate them. I spoke with apple and they will not reset them without knowing at least one of the answers - if I knew one of the answers we wouldn't need to reset them! It's very frustrating. I can't even say that the answer "is just a bunch of characters" because the support team can't see the answer themselves - they have to enter it for a match.

I am stuck in this very same situation and apple cannot help (called the support, went to an apple store) the only solution they offer is to add a credit card, sorry but I do not one one and my debit card is apparently not accepted by Apple!

You have my phone on record, you have the Serial of the Mac I use for iTunes, you have the serial of my iPhone 5, you have 3 of my e-mail address, why should I be FORCED to add a Credit Card?

I also forget my security questions answer but I just could not remember ever making one (or I didn't put much into it since I am too excited). Anyway I tried all the suggestions post here but it didn't work. So my only hope is if apple respond to my email. I wish they provide us a simple and of course secure way to just reset those security questions or allow us to create new security questions.

Hi there!

I have a problem with my apple ID, I have redeemed my code and now have £15 in my account, as I was about the purchase something, I had to answer some security questions that I have completely forgotten, I tried typing some answers I thought would be correct until my Apple ID got locked!

What do I do now?

I've been searching for help and how to change my security questions but can't seem to find any help, because I literally have forgotten the answers to my security questions!

Is there any chance of my apple I'd being unlocked and Being able to make purchases without any problems like this?

What can I do?
