My husband carried both our phones to be serviced.. It worked for a few hours and stopped again. We found other ways to send pictures through apps but not everyone uses these apps. Sending pictures only works through imessages but then again not everyone on my contact list has it. Anyone got any ideas or fixes to the problem????.. thanx

Troubleshooting Messages
I can send TEXT messages fine but when it comes to sending pictures i cant send them
Check Settings>Messages>SMS/MMS>MMS Messaging>ON. It you still cannot receive MMS messages contact your carrier to ensure it is provisioned on your account as advised by AnaMusic.

I have the exact problem. I'm with Verizon. I saw on another board to diat *228 and then option 2. That seems to have fixed the problem. We'll see how long it lasts
Had the same prob w/ pics not sending on sprint. Spent hours on phone and finally got problem solved. Hopefully this will help other people experiencing this problem.
First, go Settings, then select Phone. Under "My number" it should say your current number. If it doesn't (as it didn't in my case) call sprint (dial *2 on your phone). Tell the sprint agent you would like your Name assigned to your number.
In my case, I had been added to an existing family plan. I was assigned a random new cell phone number, but then later changed it to my old existing phone number from AT&T. So if you are like me and brought your old cell phone number with you when you switched to Sprint, then this may be the issue.
When I was experiencing the problem with my pictures not sending, the wrong phone number was showing as my number on the phone (even though people could call and text me using my current number).
I had the same problem with my Iphone 4 but also could not send group texts. Verizon switched out my phone 2 times until we finally figured out that it was an app causing it. I had installed a data compression app. Once I deleted the app, my phone worked great and has continued to do so.
