I have the New Ipad and am trying to import pictures from my SD card to it using the camera adapter. When I plug it in, it shows my pictures, gives me the option to import all - when I select to do that - nothing happens. Thoughts/ Ideas?

If you tap a few pics (will show checkmark), will those pics import?

Do like Texas suggested, give it time. Depending on how many you have it could take the iPad several minutes to get started. Like he said, try a few at a time. (just pay attention to the boxes because it offers you the option to delete all images, which you don't want to do)
