my confusion is that shall i consider the APPLECARE PLAN....the plan is almost 20% of the laptops cost....Will spending so much money be worth it

Like any other insurance, it's only worth it if you have a problem. I've purchased it on my "high risk" Macs and not purchased on the others. So far I've never needed it.
