I got a calendar alert suggesting a website. When I checked the calendar, I see I have a reminder set for everyday for at least this month and next. I did not set the alerts. Does my phone have a virus? Is there a way to delete all the alerts at once?

You don't have a virus. You have a repeating event in your calendar. This was probably sent to you as an attachment in an e-mail or text message.
In your calendar, select the event and tap Edit. Scroll down to the bottom and tap Delete Event. It will ask you if you want to delete just the one event or all future events. Tap Delete All Future Events.

HI paulijeff, I have the same thing happening to me on my iPhone. One invites me to a handbag sale, another reminds me of some rayban sale. They appear to have come out of Asia however, I'm not able to pinpoint exactly where as I'm not familiar with the language. If anyone in the community has some suggestions for us, I'm sure you would be as grateful as I. I'm a little reluctant to play around with it too much without further professional advice. I've just found your reply to paulijeff about the calendar virus Which you've suggested is not a virus. I have a question which I'm hoping you can also assist with. You've suggested that the event has come from an email attachment. 'm usually fairly diligent in what I open on my emails however, there is always a chance that something will slip through. Can the attachment open & pass through to your calendar simply by opening the email?
I'm also concerned that, some time ago, I received an email from an Australian electricity supplier saying that I had an unpaid bill. Da! What was I thinking? I opened it & there was an invoice attached however, I soon realised that it wasn't "real". Since then I have noticed that I have been locked out of my banking, so I deleted the app, & have been receiving these calendar events.
If nothing else, I guess this could serve as a warning to everyone not to open anything that is unfamiliar.

I'm having the same problem, calendar invites to sales. The first few I just hit decline without even thinking, now I'm getting 2-3 a day and it's sort of freaking me out. This is not a repeating calendar event. I can see a list of other invitees and they're a set of alphabetical email address beginning with mine. It's some kind of spam or phishing bypassing email and going straight to the calendar. What I can't figure out is how to block or filter them out.
