I've just found your reply to paulijeff about the calendar virus Which you've suggested is not a virus. I have a question which I'm hoping you can also assist with. You've suggested that the event has come from an email attachment. 'm usually fairly diligent in what I open on my emails however, there is always a chance that something will slip through. Can the attachment open & pass through to your calendar simply by opening the email?
I'm also concerned that, some time ago, I received an email from an Australian electricity supplier saying that I had an unpaid bill. Da! What was I thinking? I opened it & there was an invoice attached however, I soon realised that it wasn't "real". Since then I have noticed that I have been locked out of my banking, so I deleted the app, & have been receiving these calendar events.
If nothing else, I guess this could serve as a warning to everyone not to open anything that is unfamiliar.
IF you have any further feedback for me, I would be very grateful.
Thanks, Colleen
