It is possible that Keynote Remote application has lost its connection to your MacBook Pro.

On your MBP In Keynote Preferences > Remote check that the "Enable iPhone and iPod Touch Remotes" is Checked and check to see that your device is listed in the box below.

If you are still having problems, re-establish the link:

    1. Keynote Preferences > Remote > uncheck the "Enable iPhone..." and click the "Unlink" button adjacent to your device

    2. In Keynote Remote App > Settings > New Keynote Link... > (note the 4-digit passcode)

    3. In Keynote (on your MBP) Keynote Preferences > Remote > Click on the "Link" button and enter the new passcode and note that the iOS device and your Keynote display the successful link

4, Tap Done in your Settings in Keynote Remote App and tap "Play Slideshow" - that should start your keynote presentation on your MBP.

    Hepo this helps.
