Problem shutting down computer
I have a problem with my MacBook Pro. (10.7.4). I am unable to exit safari. Therefore I can not shut down the computer. How should I solve this problem?

Have you tried force quit from the apple menu, the upper left corner of the menu bar? Or control-click the Safari icon on the dock?
If all approaches fail you can hold the power button until the MBP shuts down...when you restart it will say it is annoyed with you but it usually doesn't hold grudges very long 🙂
