I have an iMac. I don't have an iPhone, an iPad, or any other devices. Do I still have to move to iCloud? And Why?

You don't have to, if you don't use the features MobileMe and now iCloud are offering. Anyways, MobileMe will be switched off by June 30th and you will no longer be able to log in to MobileMe. In this document you can find out, which services no longer sync after switching to iCloud.

If you use a me or mac email address or wish to access your contacts or calendars from other computers, then you should migrate your mobile me account to iCloud before the end of June.
