Q: updating iphone 4

I need to download the latest software for my iphone 4 and update my phone. Everytime I try to download the software to my computer, I get a message "connection timed out." What is the problem and how do I fix it?

Try temporarily turning off all your firewall and antivirus software until the download has completed.
