Reading Macformat magazine Quicktime 10 which came with Snow Leopard should have extended editing facilities but the copy on my Mac has only the basic editing and I have to rely on Quicktime Pro for this.
Anyone know why this might be?
There is no "special edting facilities" in QuickTime X. Only 7.6.6 allows Pro registration which unlocks the advanced edting features.
According to this months Macformat Quicktime 10 allows you to split clips, merge and rearrange etc whereas my copy only allows basic trim, cut and delete edits.
So have MacFormat got it wrong?
Version 10.1 that comes with Lion does add some additional features not found in the Snow Leopard version.
