I cant get the ipod shuffle to charge. charging light does not come on
I can't get the shuffle to charge. no light on the unit when plugged in to usb or outlet

Does the iPod shuffle still appear in the iTunes sidebar (under DEVICES) when it is connected to USB?
If it does not, there may be problem with the connector on the shuffle, or a problem with the cable. If it does, but the battery does not charge, it could be a bad battery.
You can try resetting the iPod shuffle, following this procedure.
