Q: Does the other persons phone need to be out of sleep mode in order to be located?

Unless my wife is lying to me, and I'll be honest I doubt it, the app can't seem to find her while she is at work. Little help?

iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1.1

Hmmm, that must've sounded foolish. When her phone's screen is not on, or as if she pressed the lock button on the top.

I see. No, in such cases the phone can still be located.

Don't forget, there may be some locations where location services don't work, due to a poor signal or whatever.
