Plugged into Ford Fusion USB port. Now screen shows Ford logo, cannot play music or log into itunes. What should I do?

I plugged my 80GB ipod into Ford Fusion's USB port. Now, I have a Ford logo on screen. I cannot play music or log into itunes. Anybody know what I should do?

What? That sounds crazy... The iPod's screen shows a Ford logo?

Did you try resetting the iPod?

("80GB iPod" would be "an iPod with a Click Wheel")

This basically reboots the iPod. Hopefully, it will be back to normal (with an Apple logo!).
