Large Data Uploads - guzzoni.apple.com

Throwing this out there to see if anyone else has experienced extremely high data uploads to this particular server.

Last month I saw 100GB of uploaded data between four iPhone 4S users (exclusively) to server guzzoni.apple.com which was over a 3rd of our total quota...

Quite shocking to say the least.

The server at guzzoni.apple.com is Siri.

The four people with iPhone 4S have gotta love Siri if they're using 100 GB of Upload.

The only upload when using Siri is voice, and other data, but mostly voice, and only a really long conversation with Siri would get you up to 100 GB.

guzzoni.apple.com does not take iPhone backups. It only processes Siri (iPhone 4S/5, iPad 3) and Dictation (iPhone 4S/5, iPad 3, and Mac OS X 10.8 and newer)

Activation of Dictation on a Mac defaults to pressing the fn button twice. On iOS, it is activated by pressing the microphone button on the keyboard of a supported device.

If you're not using Dictation on your MacBook Air, it may be another program using the data. If you back your iPhone to iCloud, the iPhone sends the backup directly to iCloud, not via your MacBook Air. If you back up with iTunes, it will save the backup to iTunes but it will not save a copy on iCloud.
