Safari not adapted for modern web pages.

Why isn't safari on Ipad (and Iphone) adapted to normalweb surfing?

A lot of web pages require point and click, that's no big issue. But when a page requires point and DRAG, that's when I run into problems. Also a lot of newer web pages does'nt recognise even point and click. It seems their new (is it HTML5 enabled pages?) ways of handling mouse input is not very well adopted in Safari for IPad.

So, anyone else experince the same issues? (Or, how do I DRAG things on web pages when sufing on my IPad? Two fingers doesn't seem to do the trick.)
