Q: Is it possible to update an ePub that has already been downloaded to iBooks

Is it possible to update an ePub that has already been downloaded to iBooks with revised content?

When I download the revised ePub I get a new copy in my library even though the Author and Title are the same. The book is created in Pages and I have even edited the dc:identifier in the content.opf file to match the original document

Does anyone know a way of doing this?

Same problem here.
Looks like it's a bug Apple should fix.
When I testing revisions of my epub's I just rename it every time i created epub like a1, a2, ... and uploading to the iBooks via iTunes or Dropbox.
Some people reported that reinstall of iBooks helps, not me. Prob. it not clears 'cache'.
